This story follows Bruno the Bear into a forest filled with people who need extra help Each character represents a different disability, including Dyspraxia, Autism, ADHD, Deaf, Non-Verbal, Dyslexia, Sensory Processing Disorder and a Wheelchair User.
The story explores what makes each character different and works to demonstrate kindness and understanding. At the beginning of the story there is a character profile for each person that highlights the strengths and challenges that come with their disability, to give children a better understanding of them.
Within the book, there is British Sign Language on each page and a mini sign library at the end of the book, to give children the tools to communicate beyond words and better understand their peers
