Friday, April 5, 2PM
We're heading to one of our favorite places, Ridgedale Library, to celebrate the newest book by award-winning author and Minnesotan Kate DiCamillo! Every porcine wonder was once a piglet, and Mercy Watson is no exception. Meet Mercy when she was just wee in A Piglet Named Mercy, the endearing picture book prequel to Kate's popular Mercy Watson series.
Join us at Ridgedale Library on Friday, April 5 at 2PM to meet author Kate DiCamillo, listen to a story, and get answers to your questions about writing, pigs, and (probably) dogs.
Registration for this event is now FULL. If you would like to be put on a waiting list, please email Drew at firstname.lastname@example.org. If space allows, walk-ups will be admitted to the event, however we are unable to guarantee a spot if you are not registered.
Books by Kate DiCamillo, including A Piglet Named Mercy and the Mercy Watson series, will be available for purchase and signing.
Preorder your book here! If you would like your book personally inscribed and signed by Kate DiCamillo, just indicate to whom you would like it inscribed in the customer notes when you order, or place your order over the phone by calling us at 612-920-5005. You can pick up your pre-ordered book at the event on April 5th (choose "pick up in store" at check out). If you are unable to attend the event, you will be able to pick up your book from Wild Rumpus anytime after April 5th.
Mr. Watson and Mrs. Watson live ordinary lives. Sometimes their lives feel a bit too ordinary. Sometimes they wish something different would happen. And one day it does, when someone unpredictable finds her way to their front door. In a delightful origin story for the star of the Mercy Watson series, a tiny piglet brings love (and chaos) to Deckawoo Drive — and the Watsons’ lives will never be the same.
