Online ordering

Where is my tracking info?

We ship all orders using standard USPS shipping options and are unable to provide tracking information.

Where is my confirmation email?

Sometimes our emails end up in your junk folder. Please check there. If you still can’t find it, feel free to email us at info@wildrumpusbooks.com with your name and what you ordered and we can resend you the confirmation.

I received a confirmation email. Does that mean my order is ready for pick up?

No, the confirmation email simply means we have received your order. We will contact you when your order is ready!

Can I cancel my order?

You may email us at info@wildrumpusbooks.com with a request to do so and depending on where in the fulfillment process the order is we may be able to cancel the order.

Can I return my order?

Please see our Return Policy.

Do you offer curbside pickup?

Sure do! Select “Curbside Pickup” as the delivery option when you place your order and take a look at the rest of our Curbside Pickup Information.

When are you open? How do I find the store?

Are masks required?

Yes, masks are required for all customers (ages 2+) and staff are required to wear masks for the foreseeable future. Yes, even if you’re vaccinated and even if there is no mask mandate

Are you limiting capacity?

To the extent that we can. If you arrive and our “At Capacity” sign is out, please wait outside the store for a few minutes and we will let you in as soon as we can! And while you are in the store, please give other customers space.

Why are your hours limited?

We operated basically as a warehouse for over a year, from March 2020 to June 2021 (albeit one with some playful critters around) and we are still adjusting to being back open. We have been working to build staff capacity back to pre-pandemic levels, but we are not quite there yet. We will expand our hours as soon as it makes sense. Thank you for your patience!

Are you taking cash?

No, we are card only currently. We hope to accept cash again in the future.

Will you stock my book?

For any inquiries about stocking books, please email our buyer at info @ wildrumpusbooks.com.

Can I do an event at Wild Rumpus?

Our event programming is currently very limited. We will review event pitches on a case-by-case basis. Email a query to info @ wildrumpusbooks.com and it will be forwarded to our event coordinators.

Are you hiring?

We are currently hiring for a part-time bookseller position. You can find information on how to apply here.

Can I apply for seasonal work, or if I am under 18-years-old?

You must be over 18 to work at Wild Rumpus. We do not hire for seasonal positions.
