This event is SOLD OUT.

Calling all bedtime and trolley enthusiasts! Hop on board the trolley for a Pajama Party with the amazing author Phyllis Root! (We love her!)

You'll be in your PJ's, we'll have cookies and milk, and guest author Phyllis Root will be on board to read her new book Anywhere Farm. What more could you want? A trolley ride? You got it.

Tickets are $5 each, and 100% of ticket sales go to the  Minnesota Streetcar Museum, a non-profit organization. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, June 10th at 10AM. There are 60 spots on each ride (120 total), and because of the popularity of the PJ Parties on the Trolley, they will go fast.

You can buy up to five (5) tickets for each ride (you plus up to four friends). You will need tickets for adults and children over one year old, and children must be accompanied by an adult. On Saturday, June 10th at 10AM, click on the links below to buy tickets, or sign up for our e-mailing list to receive an email with the links. (Registration will go live on June 10th at 10AM.)

You might think a farm means fields, tractors, and a barnyard full of animals. But you can plant a farm anywhere you like! A box or a bucket, a boot or a pan — almost anything can be turned into a home for green, growing things. Windows, balconies, and front steps all make wonderful spots to start. Who knows what plants you may choose to grow and who will come to see your new garden? Phyllis Root delivers a modern rhyming mantra for anyone hoping to put their green thumbs to good use, while G. Brian Karas’s cheerful urban illustrations sprout from every page. After all, anywhere can be a farm — all it takes is one small seed and someone to plant it.

For any anywhere farm, here's all that you need: soil and sunshine, some water, a seed.
